I can now say that we have had a successful Quilt Show after finding MaryAnn’s quilt. I’m sure Pam will have the $ details for us when all the bills have been paid. As for quilts, we showed 160 quilts and 53 members submitted quilts compared to last year was 120-130 quilts and only 25-30 members showed their quilts. I feel we did very well for only our second show and in two different halls. We made notes on areas that we can improve on for our 2016 Quilt Show.
Unfortunately, I am off to visit my Dad and help celebrate his 93rd Birthday later this week and will not be at our guild meeting to celebrate.
I want to thank Karen for all the typing and organizing she did months before the show. MaryAnn and all the committee persons for making our quilt show possible. We had a great group putting up and taking down of quilts and a big thank you to all who helped during the show with the food, white gloves, raffle prizes, guild table, Quilts of Valor, Home of the Brave and vendors. One big plus our guild has is our “Quilt Car” and the stars of our show are all your beautiful quilts!
Thank you again!
